I created the Label 56 blog to keep everyone up to date on goings on here at Label 56. As this blog is more or so for that specific purpose, Uprise Direct has been used to update everyone on news in our entire music scene. About two weeks ago UD made me a contributor and I have posted several news and events articles since then. It is sad to announce that Dieter Samoy of Kill Baby, Kill! has died. As of yet it is reported causes unknown. KBK have been one of my favorite bands since their start.
About a year or so ago Label 56 was contacted by some friends in Canada and asked to help out with a recruitment project they were doing. Of course we said yes and sent them some materials and support to help do so. Two videos are posted here from Lucan Wolf. As an artist Lucan Wolf is a very talented individual. He has musical projects in several different genres including rock, country, and electronic, and as with all of his work Lucan Wolf puts out a positive message. The songs here are from the cd “Warrior”. This particular cd combines rock and folk music with powerful vocals to create songs about heritage, valor, pride and honor. An excellent cd on all fronts that takes us down a fresh new road in our ever expanding music scene. This cd is now available through Label 56

Two new cd`s in stock at Label 56 are Italian hardcore band No Prisoner and Russian straight edge hardcore band Outlaw Heroes Standing. In our upcoming radio show we discuss both of these bands as well as the music scene in their respective countries in much more detail than what is posted here, as well as many other goings on in our music scene.
